Provisions Catering
Family Roots. Culinary Passion. Modern Catering.
Food and hospitality run deep in my family’s roots here in Northern Michigan. It all started in the 1960s when my great-grandparents opened ZJ’s Dumpling House in Chums Corners, just outside Traverse City. That love for serving great food carried through every generation — from my parents’ restaurant, Bob & Jo’s in Interlochen, MI, to their wedding venues, Greystone Weddings and Visions at CenterPointe.
When my parents opened Bob & Jo’s, it quickly became a local favorite. A feature in the Traverse City Record-Eagle spotlighted their dedication to homemade comfort food and warm, small-town hospitality — values that continue to guide everything we do today.
Growing up, I learned the business from the ground up — cooking, serving, planning, and understanding that hospitality is about creating moments, not just meals. After nearly 20 years of working alongside my family, I wanted to build something that blends tradition with innovation — and that’s how Provisions Catering was born.
At Provisions, we do things differently. We combine decades of family expertise with a chef-driven approach that focuses on locally sourced ingredients, seasonal menus, and custom-tailored catering experiences. Whether it’s an intimate dinner, a large wedding, or one of our weekly to-go meal pickups, every dish is made from scratch, designed to impress, and delivered with the same care we’ve built our name on for generations.
Serving Traverse City and surrounding Northern Michigan communities, we’re proud to offer a modern catering experience rooted in family tradition — where exceptional food, seamless service, and true local flavor come together.
